Movie: Galaxy Quest – I lose it every time I hear, "They’re miners, not minors!" TV: Indycar Racing.

What song on your iPod would people be most surprised you have?
Anything by Taylor Swift.

What's your favorite word? What is your least favorite word?
Favorite: Forever. Least: Can't.

What was your first job?
Delivering newspapers and junior scientist. Though I was never paid for the second one.

What do you want to be when you grow up?
A published science fiction author.

What's your favorite comfort food?
Albacore tuna sushi, with that light teriyaki sauce, scallions sprinkled on top, and a dash of chili sauce.

Why do you enjoy working at Averetek?
Just a great group of talent wrapped up in a small company. I not only get to contribute but I’m learning new things as well.

If you could have one superpower what would it be?
Flight! To slowly and quietly rise up and dance among the clouds on a full moon night, and then sneak back home before dawn.

What is your favorite game show?
Who's Line Is It Anyway? Okay, so it’s not really a true game show. But, I would stop everything to watch.

What person are you most inspired by?
Sorry but I have to name two here. Nicola Tesla: He was way ahead of his time. I truly believe he was in it for the fun and for the sheer awesomeness of the science. My other pick, King David: Shepherd, warrior, leader, poet, musician, and still just a human being.

What secret talent do you have?
Not really a big secret, with my CD’s floating around the office, but I can handle myself around an electric guitar pretty well.

What's the worst gift you ever received?
A fancy looking pen from the Intellectual Property department, of a major telecommunications company that I worked for. I gave them an idea for a future product. They gave me the pen. It fell apart the first five minutes I had it.
