I really like one of the main philosophies of the company – you can’t teach values, but you can teach skills. This means I can be a good person and be allowed to learn the skills needed to do my job. Plus, the team is awesome - everyone is very open, honest, helpful and extremely friendly!
My first job was selling strawberries at a Biringer Farm Berry Barn. I’m not sure if you can even call this a real job but it did pay real money and I worked eight hours a day during the summer or until I ran out of the day’s stock of berries. You’d be surprised how into strawberries people are!
I have a really good “spidey-sense” – I can read people very well and am very aware of what happens around me.
The dream would be to own a winery and be the winemaker. I make a very small amount of wine with my family once a year and really enjoy the whole process. Plus, I think the business side would be fun to start since I have a background in marketing and have had exposure to coding and design. I could practice and sharpen those skills while learning new ones, which I think would be really fun.
I’m a huge music fan. My husband likes to call me the music encyclopedia and my nickname among a few friends is “DJ” since I’m often pegged to pick the music for whatever get-together we’re having.
