Confronting the Biggest Risk in Channel Marketing Campaigns, Part 2

Mike Moore, Averetek

In our last post, I wrote about how the success of channel marketing programs relies heavily on your channel partners’ ability to successfully promote the great content and offers you put in their hands. Without a solid, well-maintained marketing database and strong social media presence and practices, your partners’ offers will generate no interest in the market.

At Averetek, we believe we can help you and your partners confront this risk and overcome it. Further, we believe the companies that address this risk will show significantly better campaign results and enjoy deeper, more loyal partner relationships.

We have two new additions to our channel marketing automation platform that will help brands and their channel partners address these issues, create more successful campaigns, and thereby create more and better leads.

The first addition is ContactAI, a service for the Averetek platform that improves campaign performance by validating, enriching, and prioritizing contacts in the channel partners marketing database. Channel partners upload their marketing database into the Averetek platform and the ContactAI service runs a series of intelligent processes to improve the data before its used to promote content or an offer.

The second addition is Social Media Publishing.

Social Media Publishing

While their marketing database is useful in helping channel partners connect with people they already know, or at least who’s email address they know, social media is one of the best ways to meet new people. When partners create content or offers and share them through posts on Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Google+ the content will be discovered by people interested in that topic. When people are interested, they click on the social posts, view the content or offer and quite often, they’ll complete the form on the landing page to receive whatever is being promoted. The form submissions help the partners generate leads and build their marketing database.

Partners typically struggle with two aspects of promoting content and offers through social media – writing social posts and posting them frequently and repeatedly.

Averetek’s new social media publishing feature allows brand campaign creators to write and publish social media posts that channel partners can share to promote the content and offers as part of their lead generation efforts. The social media posts can be customized by the partner or posted as-is.

Social media posts can be sent directly from the Averetek platform to Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Google+. Posts can be published immediately, at a scheduled time, or repeated over a set period. Choosing to post repeatedly will drive more impressions for channel partners and lead to more opportunities to generate leads.

Social Content Publishing will be available soon as an included service in Averetek Basic, Averetek Professional, Averetek Enterprise, and Averetek ABM Edition.
